HILLEL MIDDLE
SCHOOL STUDENTS achieve outstanding
success AT the regional Science and engineering Fair
FEBRUARY 25, 2005
The
Hillsborough County Science and Engineering Fair Awards were held last night
(Feb. 24, 2005) at the USF Sundome. Top projects were featured from
private, public, and magnet middle schools from all over Hillsborough
County. Hillel sent 9 projects to the fair, and we are proud to announce
that we had amazing success…winning 8 total awards.

In the Behavioral and Social Sciences Category, projects from Hillel swept
the category. We not only took first place in
Hillsborough County, but
2nd and 3rd as well! Congratulations to Gordana Krone,
Molly Reissmann, Jessica Wasserman, Ayala Wasser, Jake Lowe, Alex Tuch, and
Brynne Elozory.

In the Computers Category, Cody Elozory represented Hillel by taking 2nd
place in the county!
§
In the Botany Category, Barry Brudny received the 1st place
award!
§
In the Microbiology Category, Taylor Allen also took the 1st
place award!
§
Kevin Temmer and Marina Millison also received awards of excellence for
their participation in the fair.
§
Finally, a Hillel
project received an award from the Florida Psychological Association, as
well as a prestigious award from the National Psychological
Association.
As a result of our
awesome job at the regional fair, Hillel will be sending 3 projects to the
Florida State Science Fair in April. Go Hillel!
