Jewish Community
Day School
in the
Tampa
Bay
area and are accredited by the Florida Council of Independent Schools and
the Florida Kindergarten Council. A member of the Jewish Community Day
School Network, at Hillel we embrace all of the wonderfully diverse aspects
of the rich culture and traditions of Judaism. Our students receive a
superior education enhanced by the opportunity to learn a second language
with a third in middle school, and to integrate the values and customs of

Madison Eckelman who played at the National Federation of Music
Competition for the 3rd year in a row and got her 3rd Superior
Rating in violin. This allows her to play in Jax for the state
competition. She also earned a gold cup, for which she needed 3
Superiors or 15 points.
To
both the girls' and boys' basketball teams for bringing home the
second place trophy for 2008. The teams play in the Florida West
Coast League. Go Hillel Heat!
To
Hillel's Chess Team for bringing home a second place trophy from the
Mendenhall Grand Prix Championship. To the great team of Ethan
Hinds, Tyler Duic, Daniel Guiot and Jonathan Rabin.
To our
head of school Amy Wasser, for winning the 2007 Grinspoon-Steinhardt
Award for Excellence in Jewish Education.
